5 REASONS TO STOP THE EXCUSES & TRY THE MAN CHALLENGE

We’re all good at telling BS stories and we’ve all got one – whether it’s ‘I was going to start eating better and training but I got too busy’ or ‘it’s boring and my knee hurts’ or ‘I’m not fat, I’m big-boned’.
The thing is, when you make excuses, you become a victim, you’re telling yourself that you’re weak and helpless, and start to believe that you have no control over your own health and life.
Two of the most common excuses I hear are “I’m not fat, I’m big-boned’’ and “my whole family is fat, it’s in my genes”. Well, I have some good news for you – if your family members are fat you don’t need to go out and buy fat jeans with an elastic waist because 70 per cent of your weight and fitness goals are determined by your lifestyle, not your genes.
And as far as being big-boned goes:
The Man Challenge has been created specifically for blokes using fun, fast and simple training methods to get men moving. And blokes who move better are able to think and feel better.
For those blokes out there looking to address their health and fitness here are five reasons to give The Man Challenge a go:
The Man Challenge workouts will build muscle and burn fat. Muscle mass is metabolically active and helps men’s bodies burn more calories throughout the day even when you are sitting on the lounge, thanks to the post workout after burn effect.
The Man Challenge will reshape your body giving you that “fit” look. Yes you will build muscle, burn fat and you will look great and improve self-confidence. You’ll look good at the beach or pool and you won’t be embarrassed or afraid to get your shirt off. Bottom line: muscle is sexier than fat. Do the math.
Fact: muscle helps you live longer. A study from Tufts University* found that the more muscle you have the better your chances of a longer life. More than either blood pressure or cholesterol, muscle mass was determined to be the top biomarker for longevity.**
The Man Challenge program not only makes you stronger and builds muscle but does so in a functional manner that will help your every day movements when you lift, bend and stretch as well make you fitter so you have more stamina and can better fight fatigue.
Combat sarcopenia via total body resistance training. Sarcopenia is the age-related loss of muscle tissue. The harsh reality is we lose muscle mass as we age, up to 50% between the ages of 20 and 90. The Man Challenge will stop this muscle loss and help you build muscle and improve your posture. Having the strength to hold good posture can help with chronic pain due to sciatica and other back ailments.**
If you want to move, think and feel better, drop the excuses and give The Man Challenge a go.
